Flexi-Coil has always been at the forefront of air delivery technology. Every Flexi-Coil air cart is designed to provide you with accurate metering and efficient operation.

• Easy Flow header can significantly increase yields. It not only improves product flow, but it also gently guides fragile seeds through primary and secondary lines. When seeding sensitive pulses, the Easy Flow Header greatly reduces scarring or cracking for better germination and higher yields.
  
  How does it work? The header's reverse teardrop shape virtually eliminates impact points from the air delivery system. The Easy Flow Header is simple to clean and check, and the molded plastic design includes spring clips for easy inspection and service.
   
• Optical Flow sensor allows seed and fertilizer to flow more smoothly through the air distribution system. This Flexi-Coil non-contact flow system uses optical sensors to monitor product flow in the seed tubes. The non-contact flow sensor helps product flow smoothly and reduces seed and fertilizer blockage caused by the sensor itself.
  
  The Optical Flow sensor is the same size and is fully compatible with existing harnesses, except for the gateway harness. The gateway harness for the Optical Flow sensor has an RS 232 connection instead of the RS 485. New gateway and flow remotes are required to run the system.
  
  The FlexControl® display interface for the Optical Flow sensor system is the same as the original pin sensor system. When the system is mounted and connected, FlexControl will recognize the optical system when it is powered up.
   
• Rollers

  Extra-fine rollers are used for application of small diameter products at low rates.
  Fine rollers are used for most applications including cereal grains and for metering moderate rates of fertilizer.
  Coarse rollers are used for large seeds and the application of high rates of fertilizer.
  Extra coarse rollers are used for very large, fragile seeds and the application of very high rates of fertilizer.

• Segmented meter rollers. Flexi-Coil offers two choices in segmented meter rollers. Offset flutes allow continuous metering of very small or very large products at extremely low rates. Segmented versions make mechanical drive metering systems easier to set because they operate at faster speeds–even at lower rates.
   
• Air velocity is easily adjusted by using either the in-cab monitor or adjusting the handle on the air plenum. For initial settings, use the velocity charts. Then fine-tune the settings using actual seed weights.
   
• The auger works fast to fill or empty the air cart. A brush flighting kit is available for gentle seed handling of sensitive crops.
   
• A Flexi-Coil air cart can be handled easily by one person—a major time saving feature.
   
• Flexi-Coil down draft metering design features four significant innovations that improve accuracy:
  1. An agitator bar prevents bridging and allows consistent density and supply of product to the meter roller.
  2. Product that is divided into equal sections—one for each primary line in the distribution system.
  3. Air and product are mixed in a parallel flow for a smooth transition from the meter box to the distribution system.
  4. Uses Type B draft metering.
